Global History or Supersession Searches

You can perform a global search for History or Supersession without first setting the catalog.

Viewing Global History

1. Click Information on the menu bar to display a menu.
2. Select History Part Search.
3. Enter the part number you wish to search for, and click the Search button.
4. The History Part Search result shows you usage groups and their full history. The part number you entered has an asterix (*). Part numbers go from oldest at the top to newest at the bottom. Your selected part number may be anywhere in that order.

Tip: The History Part Search functions the same as the History tab in the Part Details window.

Viewing Global Supersession

1. Click Information on the menu bar to display a menu.
2. Select Supersession Part Search.
3. Enter the part number you wish to search for, and click the Search button.
4. The Supersession Part Search result shows you any supersession for the part you entered. When there is more than one way to supersede a FIGKEY, EQ-Hit shows you which options are available.

Tip: The Supersession Part Search functions the same as the Supersession tab in the Part Details window.
