Setting Up Parts Manager ProTM

To configure PMPro to match your workflow, select Application Settings from the Settings menu.

Settings are organized into tabs, available along the left side of the Application Settings display. Click a tab to see its contents.

General Settings

General Settings apply to the entire application interface. Make required changes and click Save.

Setting	Purpose	Comments
Application Language	Set the language in which the application user interface will be displayed.	Translates menu names, button labels, etc. but not parts data (that is chosen on the Product Settings tab).
Navigation Style	Set whether images will display while navigating through the catalog.	This setting will affect the display of images at the product and section level, only. The side-by-side display itself will always show images, if they are available.
Measurements	Set the standard measurement format for all catalogs (English or Metric).
Date Format and Time Format	Set the standard format for displaying date and time in the catalog.
Show picklist by default	Set whether picklist will be minimized or open for each new job.	Mark this checkbox to show the picklist. Uncheck the box to minimize it.
Add selected parts to bottom of picklist	Adds new items to bottom of picklist, instead of the top.	Picklists are job-specific, but this setting will apply to all your picklists.
Notifications	Uncheck the boxes to turn off warning notifications.	These are checked by default, and we recommend leaving them checked.

Product Settings

Product Settings apply to a specific product group. Make required changes and click Save.

Setting	Purpose
Data Language	Determine the language in which parts information is displayed. Available languages for the current product are listed.
Country	Select your country.
Currency	Determine the currency in which prices will be displayed.
Price Book	Select from a list of available price books. Available for all products, if your distributor has supplied you with a price book. Available prices will appear in a tab in the Part Details for individual parts, and can be displayed in the Picklist.
Copy/Paste Format	Make a selection from the drop-down menu. Available for some products.

User Settings

Some information on this tab is automatically filled in when you log in. This data will be included when you email Illustrations, Parts Lists, and Estimates from within the EPC, or when you send feedback via the Feedback link under Help.

Setting	Purpose
First Name, Last Name	Appears as your Sender information.
Email	Appears as your From information.
Signature	Enter a signature line which will appear below the body text of any emails.

Dealer Settings

Some information on this tab is automatically filled in when you log in.

Setting	Purpose
Dealer Name, Address, etc.	Included when you send feedback via the Feedback link under Help.
Email	Automatically populates email fields when you email an Estimate or send feedback via the Feedback link under Help.
